DO YOU NEED A CUSTOM SIZE, IMAGE OR DESIGN?

If you require a custom size that is not in our list, your own image or you would like one of our talented designers to create a unique piece, contact us below.

  • Are the colours seen on screen accurate?
There can be some variation between computer monitors and the final printed product. This is due to individual brightness and colour intensity settings, however, this is usually very minimal. Colours can also look slightly different depending on the material they are printed on. If you have any specific concerns about colour matching, we would suggest sending a sample for you before you make the final order to give you a more accurate idea of colour. Please note we would actually suggest colour matching paints etc. where possible once you have received the final product.
  • My image is too large to attach to an email, how should I send this to you?"
If you are looking to show off your creative flair, we can transform your own designs and photos into bespoke wallpaper at no extra cost! Let us know your wall dimensions and visit We Transfer Once received, we will get working on creating a proof image and a quote. We can also show how the image will come out in terms of resolution once printed!
  • Is there an extra fee for design work?
If your mural requires more complex design work, we may charge an additional design fee. This will be explained by our Customer Service team at your request. Just let us know what you need and we will get working on that for you!
  • Can I use my own image?
If you are looking to show off your creative flair, we can transform your own designs and photos into bespoke wallpaper at no extra cost! Let us know your wall dimensions and visit https://wetransfer.com/ - upload your image using our email hello@contemporarywallpaper.co.uk Once received, we will get working on creating a proof image and a quote. We can also show how the image will come out in terms of resolution once printed! Please note, generally, in order to print large wallpaper murals, we need large hi resolution images, ideally full size at a minimum of 300dpi. Once you have sent your image over to us we can let you know on this.
  • I have more than one wall, how should I measure?"
No problem! Firstly, it depends on if the walls you are looking to fill are connected - if they are simply enter the combined width and the largest height of the walls when requesting your quote on our website. From there we would produce this as one mural with the pattern or design flowing perfectly across the two walls!
  • Should I give my exact dimensions (measuring)?
Yes, as we print everything to order, based upon the dimensions provided to us we require the exact dimensions. We will then add on 1-2% to allow for any small measuring errors (mural orders only). From there we can get working on creating your dream wallpaper! We recommend that you give the exact dimensions of your wall, measured at the widest and highest part of the wall. We suggest measuring your wall at a variety of points to ensure you find the widest and highest points. You can add a little excess to your measurements if you would like some extra to allow for any other wall discrepancies.
  • I made a mistake measuring my wall (wrong sizes), what can I do?"
We always advise to double and triple check your dimensions before placing an order with us! We can also change the dimensions of your order at any point before payment is made. Unfortunately, once a mural has been paid for and your image proof approved, we can't accept any further changes. If a mistake has been made, we may be able to amend this for you by creating the required additional piece. Please be aware that there may be colour variation between prints. Get in touch via hello@contemporarywallpaper.co.uk where we can assist further in this scenario. If you believe that you have received your mural in the incorrect sizes due to a printing error, contact us on the above email and we will investigate the matter further for you. Of course, if there has been a print error we will get this resolved as a matter of urgency for you!
  • Should I book a decorator prior to receiving my wallpaper?
We have made our installation guides with the aim of them being as straightforward as possible - if you have done some form of DIY or wallpapering previously, you should be absolutely fine! However, some customers do opt for a professional to install for them, in this case we recommend that all customers wait until they receive their wallpaper prior to booking a decorator. Once your wallpaper arrives, please check your wallpaper prior to installation to ensure that everything has arrived as ordered. That way we can fix any unlikely issues before the paper is installed! *Under no circumstances can we be held responsible or compensate for any third party costs.
  • My wallpaper isn’t sticking, what should I do?"
Your wallpaper isn't sticking to your wall? Don't worry! You should firstly ensure that a strong, paste to the wall, wallpaper paste was used. These types of wallpaper paste are readily available in most DIY stores or online. If you are still experiencing issues, drop us an email onhello@contemporarywallpaper.co.uk where a wallpaper expert will be on hand to help!
  • How can I ensure that the panels match?

When installing, ensure that the first panel is hung straight, this is vital for successful installation of your mural. Use a plumb line or spirit level to mark a panels width on the wall, this will give you a guide when hanging the first panel and ensure it’s hung straight. If you experience any problems during installation, let us know on hello@contemporarywallpaper.co.uk and we will be happy to assist!
